What does 'full-stack' actually get me?

What stack do you build on?

Our default is Next.js and React with TypeScript on the frontend, Node.js or Python on the backend, PostgreSQL with Prisma for data, and deployment to Vercel or a cloud provider. We're not dogmatic — if your team already runs Django or a particular cloud, we adapt. The stack should fit your maintenance capacity, not just our preferences.

Can Next.js be the whole backend too?

For many products, yes. Next.js API routes and server actions handle authentication, database access, and integrations well enough that you don't need a separate backend service. When you need heavy background processing, a separate language for performance, or a backend shared across web and mobile, we split it out into a dedicated service. We start simple and grow the architecture as the requirements demand.

How long does a full-stack app take?

A focused MVP with auth, a database, and core features typically takes 6–12 weeks. A full product with complex workflows, real-time features, payments, and multiple integrations runs 3–6 months. Because one team carries context across the stack, full-stack builds often move faster than splitting the same work between separate frontend and backend vendors.

How does type safety work across the stack?

We share TypeScript types — or generate them — between the API and the frontend, so the shape of every request and response is checked at build time. If you change a field in the backend, the frontend won't compile until it's updated to match. This eliminates a whole category of integration bugs that plague projects where the two halves drift apart.

Yes, from the start. We containerize where appropriate, configure a CI pipeline that runs tests and builds on every commit, and set up zero-downtime deployments. Will I be locked in to you for maintenance?

No. We write documented, conventional code on mainstream technologies precisely so any competent team can take it over. You own the repository and infrastructure. We're happy to provide ongoing support if you want it, but it should be your choice, not a consequence of opaque or unusual code we made hard to hand off.
